After studding American Intellectual Property law and alternative dispute resolution systems at the University of the Pacific, Mc George School of Law in California, Marie began her professional career by working in commercial law, and more specifically on matters of intellectual property law and trade practices. After six years, she joined CMS DeBacker and acquired a wide experience in distribution law, in distribution networks and retail business in general. Marie gives commercial advice and handles cases in front of the Belgian Courts and arbitral Tribunals on a daily basis. She also developed a strong expertise in negotiating and drafting contracts.
